1. Regulatory Status & Corporate Identification

Crypto Compliance & Escrow Services B.V. is a private limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands, having its corporate seat in Rotterdam, South Holland.

The company is officially registered as a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) under registration number R182904 pursuant to Section 23b of the Dutch Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act (Wet ter voorkoming van witwassen en financieren van terrorisme — Wwft).

Under Dutch law, DNB exclusively supervises compliance with the Wwft and the Sanctions Act 1977. CC&E Services B.V. is subject to conduct-of-business oversight by the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (Autoriteit Financiële Markten — AFM).

2. Anti-Money Laundering & Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML / CTF) Policy

In adherence to EU Directive 2018/843 (AMLD5), upcoming AMLD6, and the Wwft framework, CC&E Services B.V. enforces rigorous Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and transaction monitoring protocols:

• Identity Verification: Strict Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification of individuals and Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) prior to formal onboarding or asset release.
• Sanctions Screening: Automated screening against EU, UN, OFAC, and Dutch national asset freezing lists.
• Blockchain Provenance: On-chain risk scoring of all incoming and outgoing addresses using certified industry tools. Transactions associated with sanctioned entities or illicit mixers are flagged and handled according to statutory duties.
• Statutory Reporting: Suspicious transaction activity is reported to the Dutch Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-Nederland) in accordance with Dutch law.

3. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)

We process personal data strictly in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR) and Dutch data protection legislation.

• Lawful Basis: Case details and identification data are collected solely for performing our forensic investigation and escrow services and fulfilling statutory compliance obligations.
• Storage & Encryption: All sensitive transaction data and identification documents are stored within encrypted European data centers with AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit.
• Data Retention: Compliance records are preserved for the statutory 5-year period required by the Wwft, after which they are securely expunged.

While our certified reports are prepared to judicial standards and have been successfully utilized by law enforcement, European prosecutors, and commercial litigation lawyers, we do not guarantee specific financial recovery outcomes from non-compliant foreign entities or uncooperative threat actors.
